He's an only son with my ex, though he was told everyone gets duty time. He'll be going for computer courses which is what he wanted to begin with.

He's excited, so I'm excited!
Ya'll should have seen what they had 8weeks ago :funny:
We did not part on good terms a couple yrs ago , but now, I'm the first person he calls when he gets phone time
Yeah, I'm pretty proud of him.

Awesome Carlene!!
He's on the right path now... and it'll get easier as he goes along through tech school (though he probably won't get much sleep). They don't call Keesler "Little Lackland" for nothin'

That's where I went to tech school outta basic too.
Ask him if they still call the newbies "PINGERS" when the show up there after basic training... :funny:

Oh, and tell him he won't have the poopin' problem at Keesler. :funny:

Congrats Carlene!!

(stands tall and salutes) Congrats to the proud mom and her son, who is already a hero for his service to his country. He helps us be free to cut and chop and drive what we wanna drive or ride.

Congratulations Carlene! I feel your pride (son was in the Marines).
He will come home a very changed man, and I wish everyone could
have the benefit of a military experience. Well done MOM!
