and since you are new to vws i suggest getting a manual for it then you won't have to ask so many ques with simple answers that you could find in a manual if you had it on your desk/garage/car

just sayin

Get a Bentley manual. It will make life much easier as it will answer almost all your questions. Also you won't get picked on nearly as much.

wow alot of your mothers would be proud to know you cuss like russian sailors in a everyday conversations.

As far as my grammer i didnt know this was a language class thought it was a good vw forum/site, and i hate all smart phones i was just tired and typed fast and did not feel like editing.

back to my original question to the ones that actually can and are willing to helpis:

which ball joints should i order these http://www.mamotorworkstv.com/vw/pro...03-655_301859/

or these
http://www.mamotorworkstv.com/vw/pro...r-r-355234oem/

i would much rather get the first ones that dont have to be pressed in.

My bug has a three bolt ball joint on it mounted to the bottom of the struts therefore i was thinkin i could buy the top ones.

so please just answer this"simple question"......Will the first ball joints i posted a link of work on my super beetle that was made in october of 1973? Thank you

Do Russian sailors cuss in an everyday conversation(s)?

Do YOU speak Russian ?

Have you heard Russian sailors cussing during an everyday conversation(s)?

Would they do it every day if they did do it? :Idunno:

What is the best way to learn to speak Russian?

What is the best way to learn to speak like a sailor?

Are the spindles held to the struts with 2 horizontal bolts or pressed into the spindle with 3 bolts?

My suggestion still stands, get a manual. Which I tell EVERY vw newbie who comes in here~ and we jump everyone about punctuation. It's been brought up many times. I didn't bother to say anything in your pms since you started out using it at first.

Simple logic would say, if yours has the 3 bolt joint, get that and replace and be done with it~ you could always call the tech line and ask them direct. Or call and ask Lindy who is local to you. He may even have a comparable price.

I've seen no attitude, except yours.

lol i got a sense of humor but i try to help first then have a smart remark not the other way around or not help at all

but my spindles are attached to the bottom of the struts with three bolts so i was correct in think the first link i posted is the correct ones.

JiI you say pressed on? is the spindle pressed onto the struts? if i buy the first ball joints i posted (my thinkin is) i should be able to just (after taking all safty actions) unbolt the three bolts holding the spindles and ball joints to the struts out and install the new one and attach everything back together. correct?

Don't go getting all bent out of shape. VW's don't necessarily go by a production date like modern/American cars. They go by chassis number. Basically, take your VIN and cross reference it with a VW chassis breakdown chart. That is the best way to know for sure.
