found an ad today in the paper for some model T parts for 200 bucks. I called the guy and he said he had 2 frames, fton end, rear end, drive shafts, firewall(assuming its the cowl) and a bunch of other stuff. So hopfully this weekend i can go pick it all up and start looking for a body to build a hot rod.

don't get too psyched. go check it all out first. firewall could very well mean firewall. as i have seen, most people like to use A frames due to the T frames being VERY flexible. not to rain on your parade, just check it all out. could be a good score though.

T frames need serious boxage. I would recess the plating a little for that unboxed look. And please, dont put a small block chevy in it, for the sake of being diffrent.

ya Cam, definately check it all out for rust, especially the frame(s). If it all looks good then go for it man. You can sell off those parts and fund your vrod or piece it all together for a lil summin "hambish"

p-nor's right...........T frames are useless and unfortunately there are no vin. numbers for registration on the frame. The numbers are on the engine so without the engine you will never be able to register it. You also do not want a front or rear end from a T. So I hope the $200 firewal is REALLY nice. Oh...............and T's don't have drive shafts. They have torque tubes, which are also useless for anything.

Sorry Kid........................Go have an ice cream.
