Default Re: site for VW shows in US

Wasn't sure where to put this, so if ya wanna move it feel free to put in it's proper place

Ya know, there are only 2 VW shows that are within 25 miles away from me, one is just a handful of buggies at the Off Road Center, back in 2012 I stopped in & was the only person there who didn't have his car on a trailer, then up until the mid 90's there were at least 5 VW shows within the same distance
I'd like to see more VW shows closer to Cincinnati Ohio, I'd try to start my own, but I'm a terrible when it comes to organizing anything like this, hell, I can't even keep my socks & underwear organized in the dresser drawers they go in, good thing all my socks are white, well a bit off white from the stains on the bottom from walking around in them

Anyway, I may try to see if I can come up with something, it may hafta wait until I get my machine shop up & running so I can machine VW engine parts, then I'd have a better time at spreading the word, I do have a few VW friends around me, then last year I mey a guy who is involved with the Cinci VW & Porsche Reunion Show every September, maybe I'll give him a call to see what all is involved

I think the toughest part would be finding a place to have it & getting sponsors to help out, if all works out the way I'd like it to, I'd bring my small forge & make little nick knacks as well as Buy a generator & mount my milling machine onto my trailer & machine parts all day long, but I think the forge would be much easier to bring along

Anyone have any ideas or advise on starting something like this?

I have a catchy name for it, my brother made me a T-shirt last year & he put "Bastard Metals" on it & said to name my shop that, I do believe I'm gonna name my shop Bastard Metals because VolksRods are the Bastard off spring of stock VW's, hell I'll see if I can have it in the back of the parking lot of the Remkes grocery store right next door to me, up until 2003 they had festivals there every year, but it was a K-Mart store back then & they closed up in 2004, guess I'll hafta start seeing what I can do

"Can't" is a word that means your to lazy to even try.
