Am I done?
Finished up a bunch of loose ends this weekend, and thinking this is about it for major work on this car:
Would like to chop it at some point and fab a Carson top, but not now.
I appreciate everyone's help here! Couldn't have done this work without this site!
Best,
g

You are "done" when you are satisfied, when you give up, or when you die.

Love the front wheels...
If you're gonna chop it, for some reason it screams Duvall windshield...

Re: Am I done?
Turned out REAL nice man! You pulled off the "fenders in the back / none in front" look really well by bobbing 'em like that. Great job!

You're really pulling it together nicely.

Re: Am I done?

Other than the already mentioned chop and carson top, I would do something other than the pea shooter exhaust and probably swap on an earlier decklid.

Re: Am I done?
Maybe some running boards that mimic machine gun barrels, all ventilated like air-cooled guns. And a gunsite hood ornament. Of course a yearly dental check-up is always a responsible thing to do. Looks great!

These are 350/400-19 Excelsior Blackwalls;
I got them from some shady tire company in Pennsylvania ;-)
Wheels are Ford 8N tractor wheels, borrowed kdfmangler's idea.
Cool idea on the machine gun running boards, that would be a big improvement over what I have now.
I think a Duvall windshield would be perfect - they remind me of bomber windshields and would go perfect with this airplane-ish look
Would love to hear everyone's ideas on exhausts - sort of stumped on what to do since I kept the rear intact.

Re: Am I done?
I can't remember if it was lancelot link or one of the other English guys that did an awesome exhaust that looked like the machine gun barrels with drilled heatshields. They look awesome.
It's a severely chopped black bug with a very nice paint job(yeah, I know that really narrows it down a lot )
