I beam axle set up
I came across this build on another site and was wondering what you all think as far as being able to use this set up for a bug? Maybe weld the center plate to a section of the axle tube, few gusets here and there, and keep the original mounting hole for them and mount it up and, BLAM, straight axle set up for your dub. Plus hairpins of coarse. What do you think???????

Give jdinvt a break guys. I think he was just trying to make some positive conversation. When yer on a budget, welding a spring mount to some existing structure, in a clean and orderly procedure of course, is a lot more rewarding in the pocket book than giving Speedway 800 bucks for the adapter. I'm thinking that was what jdinvt was bringing to light
Anyway, tone it down on your explicit replies jdinvt. You'll just give the hecklers more ammo
Have a Great Day and B nice...

It's part of the process around here~ Obviously the lesson wasn't absorbed the first time around. Or the second, or the third~
Would you like me to MERGE all these threads as I did for the BEAM questions a few months ago? AND all the threads daily on 'what I did today to my car'?
I'm actually thinking deletion would be easier, a lot less steps to go thru.
Want nice? go to Samba or the HAMB.

Gotcha, and I guess JD likes the torture or he wouldn't stick around. If you delete the difference's of opinion thruout the postings, we would have nothing remaining to entertain us. By all means, don't dare change a thing
As for Nice, over at the Samba some are not to nice to me when they see my projects. I have kids in their 40s, and junk I've collected longer than that, so I've been in the game for awhile, and seen alot of nice & not so nice. It's all the same to me
Speaking of nice. I've seen your videos, and it seems you like nice things yourself. That's a very steady hand you have there
Have a Great Day and B nice (or not)
