Default 72 Super Pickup

I recently ask the question "has anyone ever extended a strut suspension by moving the towers forward"

Apparently no one has and the general consensus was that the strut look was less than accomidating. Most suggested the beam swapout. I explained that I like the challange & had intentions of cleaning up the look and I already have the lowering struts and disc brake setup brand new here on the workbench

OK, with that said, the photos below show the first move at what I'm hoping will be a sharp VR in the end. I'm thiking a 3 inch chop will be incorporated into he marriage as well. You can keep an eye on the build at the following link along with my Shorty Bus build which is going well thus far

BTW, the rear cab section is from a 1950 Ford F-1 (junkyard find, 25 bucks)
