You know, those old Henry J / Allstate cars, were always a favortie of mine, stuck way the hell up in the air, with a CAE straight tube axle front, and some mean V-8 in them, with maybe a 20% engine setback..
but I have always also thought that a VW Fastback, with a little bit of metal work, could be made into a 3/4 size Henry J... look at the proportions of both, and any photoshoppers out there can probably see what I mean...

Last time I visited North Dakota there were tons of friggin old frost bitten old cars out there. It reminded me of cars you see in the desert. Totally sun fried but not much more than surface rust. I saw a lot in this little town just north of the ND/SD border that must have had 500 cars stored and I doubt a one was newer than the 60's.

Isn't that Penelope Pitstop's car from the Wacky Racers?

yeah more pictures are cool but I wouldn't guess that I am the only person wondering what is that? it's some cool looking car but what is a mystery to me and the other two people that posted about it, but I'm only guessing there.

After seeing the front end of that thing I am convinced it is the Compact Pussycat car that Penelope drove!

That is one killer ride! Definately "was" an XKE. Shame they ruined the front end with a hood ornament though. Other than that, I would love to cruise it!

the hood ornament was the only part that seemed half assed
they tried to make it look like it was breaking thru the skin and
it just looked kind of

I thought it looked kind of "Gay Death Race 2000". What's with the things sticking out of the wheels? Nice work and all but out of proportion and it looks like nothing fits. The big channel cat nailed the look of the front.

That's one of my favorite year Fords. It works both ways for a Custom or hot rod.

That is a 37 Chevy coupe. I actually have one of those, front sheetmetal is off it and stole the 350 engine for my COE. I am trying to decide what to do with the 37 in the garage right now. Too many projects, not enough time or money
