Went camping this weekend and had to make a run to the store yesterday morning. As I pulled into the parking lot a Meyers Tow'd pulled into the diner across the street. I told my buddy's wife to get the supplys, as I was going across the street to look at the buggie. You should have seen the look on the guys face when I asked who owned the Tow'd ( Kinda like this). He couldn't believe somebody actually knew what it was. Talked to him for a few then got back to camping. Best camping trip I've ever been on. unloaded a 350 from my truck, picked it up over the weekend for $50.

started disassembling the motor in my camaro for the 4th time, trying to see if theres a problem with the cam or something that the car doesnt want to fire at all. something is funky in the valve train somewhere. but how do you screw up a SBC cam install??? Timing Marks? or the cam is marked wrong. otherwise you're right, it's pretty tough.

I got my drivers door to come off Lets see. 5 drill bits a case hardend tap and several busted knuckles just to get out three screws. Oh well lesson learned. SSSLLLOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWW does it. Found the best to use was my impact wrench with #3 drill bit light on the air pressure and trigger and take your time. The hand held impact and hammer to hard to use (hard on the hands when you miss the target). Now to fix the rust and prime....YES! C-ya

The hand held is the only way I'll take a door off. I screwed up enough of them before trying it. Now, I've taken off about 8 doors with no problems. Some PB Blaster sprayed on the backside and left overnight helps too. You can spray the top ones but for the bottom ones you just spray down into the area and hope you got some on the threads.

I went to Wild Adventures yesterday with the family. The weather was great but I got sunburned pretty bad. We had two day passes but one day was enough. We're about to go see Herbie.

I bought (or acctually my wife did...) new laptop and we finally got logged on the Web from home!!!

We had one old PC (atleast 10 years old) so there was no use to try log on to the Web with that one...

Now I can start follow up the talk here more often. and post the updates too much faster!

Sounds awesome Scott!! Cant wait to see it.
A friend came over and helped me bleed the brakes on my car. (CB wide 5, narrowed/adjustable beam, dropped spindles) Damn, my car never handled or stopped so well. These things ROCK!!
