I remember it in primer... Looks like a bunch of the ugly welds were fixed or 'sculpted' out of the body.
Purists will always hate it. Cool!

Screw the purists. I'd drive that monster in a heart beat ! Although, I don't know where it would be safe to drive around here. Even the paved roads would tear the pan out of it, and you don't even want to think about the gravel roads outside of town. I sold my bug van because I got tired of sliding over spots in the roads, and it wasn't all that low.
