The wife called me at work this afternoon and said “you have a package that came today”. I ask her where it was from. When she told me I thought I was going to have to leave work early. It looks better than it did in the pictures. Thanks John, I appreciate you work and all the time you put into this project. It was well worth the wait.

I have no issue with anyone else coming up with a cool design and making interesting pieces and parts available to the community. I certainly do not have any kind of exclusive rights to make these things.

That being said I would have issue with someone remaking the same design that I came up with. I know that is not what you are proposing, so no issue.

However, if you want to use "VOLKSROD" on the part, you need to check with Steve and get his blessing (Like I did for the hood ornaments) before making something with that on it and trying to sell it here.

If you bother to go back and read the thread, I did the hood ornaments to give something back to this wonderful family we call Volksrods and to help keep this place running by contributing a portion of each sale to the site fund. To be completely upfront, I also kept a portion of each sale to cover some of my time and effort in making them.

Good luck.

#5 BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!GEDC2750 (Medium).JPG

It's kinda funny, I saw the mail man stop, as i walked to the box, since I had not specified a #, the #5 just popped into my head. And now that I think about it, this will be our 5th vw project too!

Number FIVE is ALIVE!!!!! (one day )

John... got home late last night after work and had TWO beautiful works of art waiting for me... I'm absolutely in love with these things.

The weight difference between the aluminum one and the solid brass one is pretty damn huge! Might even lower the Panty Buncher another inch or so.

No pics yet, I just snuck back inside real quick to post this since we're in the middle of putting the foundation forms up outside for the house addition.

THANK YOU John!
You are the best, sir!

To John,

Awesome work. Though I did not get one from you, you have sparked a bit of curiosity. I do appreciate the time and effort you took to get these done and they look absolutely wonderful.

Your words to the fellla a few postings back, I agree with completely.

Thank you again for making a beautiful piece of VR art.

Joe
