Just checking in
It has been a while. I got out of VWs a few years ago but find myself with more of them. I have scaled back Facebook and gotten off Instagram. You can find me on Facebook and mewe as Bugdust's Garage. I post some random crap on there.
I never finished any volksrod I started but I may give it another shot. I sold all the cool parts I had but such is life. Life has been interesting the last few years...fortunes made, fortunes lost...lol. I am in Arkansas now. Anyway. I may post more soon. I hope everyone is doing well.

Re: Just checking in
I don't even know how to post pics here anymore. I guess I will get online on my laptop and give it a shot soon
If you are on Facebook, MeWe or YouTube, you can find my projects posted under Bugdust's Garage. Join, Subscribe, Share, Like...whatever.
My personal projects include a 1959 Willys wagon, a '69 patina bug that is about to be put up for sale, a 69/73 baja, and I just picked up a 64 bug parts car and a 63 baja body that MAY or may not become a volksrod.
I just did some pan work for a guy and shaved the dash on his 70 bug vert baja. I have a 65 bug vert in my shop getting some metal work and body work done. I will be doing some body work on a shortbox squarebody soon.
I will try to figure out how to post pics here.

Re: Just checking in
Yeah, I backed off a lot because I can't get pictures to post. In my case being a complete computer idiot makes it harder, therefore frustrating. Used to be so easy.

It’s sort of nice to hear that I’m not the only one ‘computer challenged.’ 🤔😄😄

Re: Just checking in
Yeah, I moved to Arkansas for a job that I no longer have...lol. It is pretty here but taxes are crazy and the roads are bad. I like that there are not many people here compared to Florida but not many good jobs in my field either. I am thinking about moving back to Florida but that has cons also. Who knows...lol.

Re: Just checking in
I just try to expect the unexpected, so, I'm prepared for just about anything.
When I was in high school I had a T-shirt that said that with a picture of a potted plant using scissors to cut a man's head off, I wish I could find another one.
I know I'm ready for warmer weather, this snow stopped me from getting my garage straightened up, I was hoping to have my Volksrod inside, then it snowed, maybe I'll get in by next weekend

Re: Just checking in
I saw the “Life is what happens...” on the bumper sticker of a pickup that cut me off on a dirt road leading into town. I was driving a nice ‘79 Mustang GT at the time and at first was a little pissed. Then when we stopped to turn onto the paved road, I read the sticker and thought it pretty funny.
