Just got an old Bradley GT for the fiberglass body. It's in decent condition and will make a great simple body for the new drag car. Remove the windshield and "top", raise the sides a bit and place a screen in front of the driver to cheat the wind. It'll go on the rail chassis when it gets here.

Does anyone have any pictures or links to pictures of Bradley GTs in race configuration? Street, track, or drag racing, doesn't matter. Just looking for a little inspiration during the build to keep our interest up. When it's just a pile of parts. it's hard to focus on the finish.

Thanks !

TC

I tried there, AND the Google images area, but no racing cars/drag car at all. Maybe I'm a bit of a pioneer with this idea . . . !?!?

The body at Jim's will need a little too much work to straighten out, there's some distortion from sitting. AND it's kinda too low to allow a rail frame. The tubing would be poking through the fiberglass all over, the body would only be a skirt below the main part of the frame, with the upper frame still exposed.

So . . . that body's no longer a go. It's STILL the strangest body in existance, however . . .
