9.42 was the best. But, for a sweep the floor 80x92 on 87 octane and 1850lbs, I'm ok with it. Stock T3 gearing too...

Yeah, I hear ya. Iím on the fence on what I want to do. A lite gutted bug would be a fun platform to shove any engine combo in and beat on it at the track. But, a cool street cruiser is much more appreciated by everyone.

Right. I remember a friendĎs dad had a Tiger. It had 289 Ford V8. But definitely in the front of the car. His folks were into British cars and his mom drove a ĎBug Eye Sprite. Good memories.
