Beam Endplates etc. in CAD. - Cut-Weld-Drive Forums

I thought I'd share these here too. Free to use on your own risk.

Thickness recommended for the endplates 10mm.
Baywindow endplates.dxf
Bayewindow endplates.pdf
Works for both early and late bays.

Splitbeam to baywindow.dxf
Splitbeam to baywindow.pdf
This one works both in splits and baywindows. In baywindows giving an extra drop in the front without changing the splitbeam suspension much.

The shocktower mounts differ some on the endplates. They are moved up but still fit under stock wheelwells.
Caster is increased to -3degree angle to improve the driveablity with a little rake too.

Finally these Horseshoes also in 10mm thick plates:

ive got beam plates for sale in the usa but i like the paterns so im going to put them in the files thanks

Hmm. Seems like the lower tube on my Baywindow endplate drawings is slightly too low. I have to doublecheck that and correct if necessary.

Not that much that it affects anyway negative.

I thought you might have had the Balljoint end plates in there... Not just link pin ones... Looks like I'll have to get off my ass & measure my own then...

Yes, I'm not sure I will be making those either as those need to be made in several pieces welded together...

I was thinking more along the lines of making them like the l/p ones. I would think you could do the same & use l/p shocks for it... Just a thought...

I don't kow if it would work, but, it was an idea I had.

Might work. But I will not and am not able to do the research if it is doable. First of all I dont own a balljointbeam to measure from.

Sorry, I dont have endplate files for post-68 bugs. Might be possible to make ones that would be as mentioned above.

Have to look into that some day.
