What: Air-cooled VOLKSWAGEN automobile and custom/classic/vintage BMX bicycle show

Where: Hagerstown Fairgrounds Park (use 370 N Cannon Ave for Mapquest/Google)

When: Saturday August 25, 2012 8am-3pm

Entry Fees: $10 per vehicle (including driver)
FREE Entry for all Air-cooled commercial vehicles (Single Cab,
Double Cab, Panels, Firetruck, any Original logo’ed ACVW)
$10 per vintage motorcycle (Pre-1985)
$3 per bicycle
$2 - Spectators
Kids 12 and under FREE
$15- Swap Space/ $15 Used car sales

2012 marks our fifth annual show being held at the Hagerstown Fairgrounds Park, a great venue with plenty of space, and shade. The show is open to any German Air-Cooled vehicle including, Beetles, Buses, Ghias, Type 3, Dune Buggies, Kit Cars, VW based coachbuilts, Porsche, etc. In addition we will be holding a custom and classic bicycle and vintage motorcycle show as well. Bicycles from ANY year and style are encouraged. Classes will be based on projected turn-out.

This year's show will be featuring COMMERCIAL vehicles with FREE entry for any Air-Cooled commercial such as: Panels, Single cabs, Double cabs, \Firetruck and ambulance conversions or any ACVWs used in a commercial application (Beetle, bus, type 3 etc)

BACK for 2012, Vintage Motorcycle/Mini Bike class. This is reserved for all pre-1985 motorcycles from any manufacturer, extending the "Simple Transport " theme!

This show is targeted towards the avid Air-Cooled VW enthusiast and participants are encouraged to DRIVE to the event. The atmosphere will be laid back family oriented and will be fun for everyone. We will have concessions, restrooms, and plenty of extras as well. Awards will be participant judged and awarded to top 25 entries; additional awards will be presented to Promoters choice, People's Choice, and Long Distance Award (applies to any Air-cooled Entry Show or Swap)

Our 2011 show was featured in the Dec 2011 isuue of Hot VWs magazine!

Raffle tickets available to entries and spectators for VW prizes and cash.

Also:
VW Tattoo Contest , Kids Corner assorted kids entertainment/projects, food vendors, VW, motorcycle and bicycle swap meet, New parts vendors, Open house at the Hagerstown BMX track

We are using this show as a fund-raiser for the Hagerstown BMX track located in the park. We will have an Open House at the track during the show as well (long sleeves, long pants required)
