Default Classic Instruments, Classic Series gauge set
Price: 250   Location: Waldorf, MD

Just like the beam extender I also have listed, I bought this gauge set for a specific Volksrod project that I sold some time ago. So it's time to move on and let some of the stuff go that I had planned to go into that project.

Up for sale is a set of Classic Instruments, Classic series gauges. White faced with chrome bezels and including senders.

Personally, I freaking love these gauges! It's a shame I don't feel I have anything where they will "fit in" anymore. The white faces, the font used, the needles, the labels (PETROL/DYNAMO) all of it just screams old school cool to me!

5 gauges:
-Speedo
-Oil pressure
-Dynamo (amps)
-Petrol (fuel)
-Oil temp

1 speedo adapter
1 temp sender
1 pressure sender
1 fuel sender

All items I guess "NOS" in that they were purchase new by the person I bought them from years ago, years before he sold them to me. I don't know if Classic Instruments even sells a VW kit anymore. These have never been installed or run.

The speedo is smaller than the hole for the speedo in an early beetle, so I had planned to create an adapter to fill in the space or weld in metal to make the speedo hole smaller.

I don't remember what I paid for them, I honestly don't. From the papers in the box it looks like the original retail may have been something like 486-529? and with a sale (maybe a show price) the original buyer might have paid $300? So, I'm asking $250 which feels fair to me but if you've got an offer HMU.

YOU pay actual shipping on whatever carrier you choose, as long as I can drop it off near my hometown of Waldorf, MD. Or, local pickup is fine. Package is 18x12x6 weighing 6 lb. for shipping estimates coming from Waldorf, MD 20601.
