i'm mostly into straight line style, low lean and long, but if it has wheels i usually like it... i don't however like the over the top OCC style or "coontail" (let me see how wild and different i can be) bikes...

this is a perfect example of the style im not much into, but a well executed bike. i used to help the guy that painted it, and the guy that built it runs a shop near my hometown called Gypsy Choppers www.bigassbike.com he builds some pretty cool shit. guess you could also call them "artsy fartsy" bikes... this one was supposed to be an easyriders feature bike, dunno if it ever made it or not, but its obviously not gonna get tons of road time...

Thought you might like to see this pic of my wife's grandmother - one of the first biker chicks - standing next to her brother's 1912 Harley. Pic was taken in 1914 after he bought it from the first owner. Wish I had that bike today (now worth $100,000+).

I'm mostly of the opinion that there is no "uncool" motorcycle, there are obvious exceptions, but since cafe was mentioned and not wanting Kursed to feel lonely...here's a couple with different perspectives.

2001 honda vlx...with a few upgrades. drag bars, pipes, hardtailed, custom seat, fender, forks, liscence plate mount, mirrors, flat black paint. I want to stripe it, but need more practice. Was thinking maybe next year putting some ape hangers on with a street sweeper fender, just for something different. We'll see how much money my wife will let me have!bikevlx.jpg

a guy i know was trying to sell this and couldn't, so he asked if i wanted it free. i was into bikes for about 12 years, but got bored and got out of it. i miss my last harley though and decided to build a yammy chopper like it. don't laugh!! i only got about $350 bucks in it and i am almost done. just some paint and wiring and it will be for sale. the first pic was when i got it and the 2nd is my last hog.

and here it is:

it has a yammy speedo in the hog cluster on the tank and an automotive ignition switch to start it. the rear fender was made fron three stock ones and the handelbars are the stock ones
with a little work. i also made it a foot clutch and a jockey shift.
