Wish I would have thought about that earlier! We spent the night in a friend's folk's empty condo at the yacht club in Richland. They had just moved out so it was totally empty. Luxury condo camping!

Just got home from Sturgis on Monday. Less people there this year. Reckon it's the $$$ thing. Here's a shot my wife took near the South Dakota/Nebraska border from our BMW. 10 day ride all together....about 3500 miles. Bike turned over 95,000 miles on Monday.

Hwy 3 through Saint Joe's forest and 97 along Coure D'Alene Lake were also highlights of the trip back north.
Cool, that's a pretty ride over White Pass, and Idaho is gorgeous too!

Have you traveled up the Columbia River Gorge? On the Washington side it's nice and twisty, and there's some great riding in that area.

The best bike ride in the fall is from a place called BZ Corners, just north of White Salmon on a road called the "BZ Glenwood Hwy". I'd rate it as the most beautiful fall ride ever, anywhere. You can ride up that way and then back to the Columbia down the Klickitat Canyon... If I can get a two wheeler this year I'll be headed that way come September/October!

If you ever get a chance, hit Montana and try 212, the beartooth highway heading into Yellowstone. ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!!!!!!

It is pretty damn cool. The wildflowers are about 2" tall and right next to snowdrifts.

Nice! My wife rides a 750 Virago. When the carbs went south I fabbed an intake and it now runs a single 38mm flatslide Mikuni. She just loves the bike.

Thanks, my buddy had a chopped 750 with the single carb (not sure what size) He talked us into building some of our own....then he went and traded his bike for a mud truck. As soon as I get some paint on our vw we'll get the bikes back in the garage and finish them up. I'll post some better pics....some taken with a real camara and not a cell phone.

decided to take a spill on mine today. So I changed the exhaust routing, so it doesn't hit again. Nothing was fucked up at all, other than my pride. Here's a shot of what I did to the exhaust.

the tank is just getting a flat clear yeah. as is the rear fender, i took a cuttoff wheel to it and just make scratches/swirls in the chrome. the dent on the fender is when my pops knocked it into the floor when we were working on the tank, i decided to keep it when i cut the fender for a little style
