Damn, I have a clubman bar sitting in my garage that I have no use for now since I swapped them for clip ons. Know anyone who needs a clubman bar?

They are very similar, if not exact, to these:
I've seen several companies that sell these with 5.5" pull back - installed which seems like the PB is more than mine. Riding position feels the same with my clip ons, except the clip ons are several inches lower down.
I have pictures of the clubmans on my bike with pics in my intro (check my signature) that should give you a good idea of what they look like. Bar O/D is 7/8".

Re: Motorcycle Thread
Does anyone know of any company that makes custom spokes for motorcycle rims, besides Buchanan's?
I recently bought a new 19" rim for the rear of my bike, to replace the HD 16" 'chopper' style rim, and I tried ordering some custom spokes for the rear rim and new spokes for the front wheel. The first email I received from them (took approximately 2 days for the reply) with an initial inquiry about what I should order, I emailed them back telling them that I wanted to order said spokes but am still waiting for a reply (over a week). Whats the deal?
Is there anyone else making spokes?

Re: Motorcycle Thread
Nope. Put it on Craigslist and had a couple people call. One guy came and looked at it on Friday was stoked on it but had to find a place to work on/store it and another guy hopefully looking tonight.

Not sure about the price since they are the only people I've located via the intarwebs that make custom spokes. I'll just give them a call to see what the heck is up.

Here's a pic of the clubmans installed (before I bought the bike). Riding with clubmans isn't bad at all. They have a solid feel and a good riding position. O/D on the bars is 7/8" which should fit a multitude of bikes with no problems at all.
IIRC, Bill has some clubmans on his bike and he might offer some additional info.
As for the price, I'd take $15 plus shipping, and I'll give 'em a good polish for ya.

You going to get another bike to replace your current one after you sell it?
If you do, got something in mind you'd like to get?

I don't give a damn about your bike/ and or beetle until you do an intro.
Once you do an intro, then we can talk.

Re: Motorcycle Thread
I found my clubmans to be more comfortable than the stock bars and they allow you to tuck in lower to lessen the wind on your upper body. Those one's pictured look narrower than mine, they come in different widths (between the "points" where the U shaped center meets the grip part) so make sure you measure your gauges to make sure they will clear. The first set I tried were too narrow for my bike.

Hopefully, if I can get enough out of the KZ and I've got a couple of side jobs lined up to get some more $$$. I'm thinking maybe an older ZX/Ninja, or I did find a GSXR750 for $1200 so who knows. Can't do anything until the KZ sells. If it doesn't I'll work on it over the winter. I'd like to get something that is a bit more long trip worthy.

Re: Motorcycle Thread
I thought Mondays were newb bashing day... or are they Tuesdays? I know I'm not cranky today, I took my written M1 test at the DMV this morning and passed with a 100%.
1slow3, I'll get some measurements of the clubmans today after work and PM you tomorrow sometime so you can let me know if they'll fit.
