Re: Motorcycle Thread
Welp, that bike ain't gonna happen. The guy sent me more info on it and it ain't pretty. I knew it had been "put down very light" but I found out from the guy that one rim is dented (but still holds air), needs upper and lower right fairings, radiator hose, scratches on the tail and a dent in the tank fixed. Plus a couple little things that he would list in an email later. Oh yeah, did I mention it has 20,000 miles on it?
My friend that helped me build my Rf900/600 is going to sell me his MINT '05 Kawasaki ZX10 with only 6000 miles for well under bluebook. He got it as a trade and wants the cash so he can put an extended 300 kit on his Hayabusa.
I just need to come up with the little extra cash to cover the difference.
Pics.

You may be right but I'm still buying a bike.
I sold my cb750 last night. Gonna look at a CBR954RR tomorrow. If it works out, my buddy can sell his ZX10R for more then he was giving it to me for.

Re: Motorcycle Thread
Passed the motorcycle written test a couple days ago; unfortunately I have to schedule the "road test" (parking lot test ) and the first available test was next thursday. Oh well, more time to practice.
Been working on a front fender.
Stock CB550 front fender, shortened 5.5" and cut all to hell. It'll be gloss black once I blast it and do some minor fiber fill.

He rode it right at the very end, the last few seconds.

Mother F#(#er!!!
I drive an hour and a half and the address the bastard gave me was for a pizza shop. I called him and he said he sold the bike friday night.
Anybody know how to find a name and address from a phone number? I'd love to send the guy a box of road kill or dog shit.
Well, the search continues. There's one in Vermont I like but I'll have to save a bit more and/or sell more stuff.

wow, that seriously sux. I sorta accidently did something like that to a guy last week. I use a donotreply@myemail.com style email for ads to avoid email harvesters and shit. I gave him my address and was here when I said I'd be but I told him first come first serve in the email and forgot to give him my phone number and he drove 45 minutes here and it was sold. I felt kinda crappy when he showed me a print out of the email and I saw no phone number so I sold him some other shit real cheap to make up for it .... ok well its not the same at all. I'd be so pissed if someone did that to me.
