Negative. Shinya just does old American iron, but I'd like to see what he could do with a Brit.

Re: Motorcycle Thread
been figuring out in my head what i want to do to my bike.... almost there. need an opinion.
here is the basic look I am going for. this is the same kind of bike i have converted to cafe with a kit.
this kit is coming avail any moment and i know there are a bunch of people that are getting it.... so i want my bike to stand out a little more. instead of the 15 inch stock spoke wheels or the 18 inch spoke wheels that are on the pic above... what if i used these 17 inch katana wheels instead (got a pair sitting at the house now)
when the time comes i will have enough cash to buy the tires for whatever wheels i use... but that is about it for the cash part. anything extra that i will have to buy will have to come from selling off extra stock parts i dont need. (fenders, stock seat blah blah blah)
If i use the Katana wheels the plan for paint is going to be a combo of medium gray and black. frame, wheels, and majority of the tins would be gray. the motor and anything chrome would be done in black.
with the spoke wheels i would be looking at dark green tins, black wheel hoops with chrome spokes, black frame, chrome exhaust and bars
give me some thoughts

Thanks for the link. It brought back some memories for my pops.

I personally prefer spokes over mags but if somebody could photoshop this bike with the mags, I may be convinced to change my mind.

Re: Motorcycle Thread
I like the look of spoked wheels over mags. But, having had my share of flats on the road, like the easy, if temporary, fixability of a tubeless tire.

Is the center on an Aramachi (sp) Sprint? I've seen a couple of his works live and in person. Brilliant stuff, and they fire up and run!

the centre one is a very small bike, the engine is honda c90 if im right. could be old dax/monkey.
in progress of designing, good he droppedthe fender idea :P
shinya makes real pieces of art, and drives the snot out of them. all of his creations run perfectly wich he always is quite happy to show. i prefer his style of loads of other custom/showbike builder. i like the raw looks and the way he creates it. no computers, no detailed drawings but all by looking at it and beating metal till it is just like he imagines it.
some may think they are ugly, i think its real art
