Got some free bananas and carrots in our grocery bag the other day. Got 2 free donuts at DD Monday.
Scored a free mint beetle hood I found in some guy's garbage a few years back.

Running/Driving, '85 dodge Aries, 2.2 Turbo..... $50.00.

Already sold the front and rear seats for $40.00, and the hub caps for $10.00.

Now to make some profit off the rest, and put the turbo on the shelf for a future project..... or something......

Don't let Guss know you have a turbo - he'll want it on his rod!

nice score, me and some buddies have scored cars like that. People don't believe deals like that exist, but they do and are fast profit or cheap transportation till it breaks then profit.

Here's my latest score. It's an actual hand drawn storyboard from the movie SAW 3 and next to it is a board from the crate depicted in the storyboard and used in the movie.

Oh yeah, I should be receiving another SAW 3 storyboard in the mail monday!!

Hot VW collection:

I gave all mine away about 7 years ago thinking I'd never own another VW.

Saw this on Craigs list for $20 and had to grab it.

HotVW 1986-2007 - (22 Years!)

missing misc months here and there but have out of 240 of 264.

Not complete but will complete the missing ones as I can find them... not sure why , but why not?!

Sorry for the crappy pics. only have my phone to use.

Sweet score. I may try to complete my collection again. I am missing some early issues but haven't even looked for them in a while.

Hey..........Start a Thread and post what you are missing. Even before I found this place or even had a VW I used to buy them at some times. I'm sure there are others that may have some scattered issues. If you need one I have, It's yours!

Bought this little cutie for $75 from craigslist. The deck is only 4' x 6' now, but it tilts and I'll be expanding it to about 5' x 9' (so I can transport complete pans with wheels). The entire frame, tongue, and fenders are aluminum!

I picked up a set of 2" drop spindles today just for getting a friend's beetle running again (took about 20 minutes).

Now get this... my boss told me he'd BUY me a complete bug if I helped him get his running right and use my old one for spare parts (it's in his yard, and he wants it gone)... talk about subtle persuasion...

I went to look at three bugs and a bunch of parts last weekend. It turns out the guy is from the old neighborhood and an old friend of my brother's, used to go to church with him actually. Anyway, he had no idea what everything was worth so I helped him establish some baseline prices since I wasn't interested in it but he did have an original empi eliminator shifter in one of the bugs. I asked him if he would take $40 for it even though it was probably worth $100. He gave me the shifter just for helping him out. I spent about 2 1/2 hrs there going through stuff with him. I took it home, cleaned it up and installed it in my 67. I drove it around for a little bit but just didn't like it so I looked on the samba and there was only one on there for sale...$550!! I really had no idea they were worth that!! So, I listed mine for $400 and sold it almost instantly!!

SCORE!!
Empi shit is just crazy. I wish I wouldn't have sold that full set of gauges out of my old 67 10 years ago for $100.
