Hello all,

As the title suggests I'm new to all this but have a big plan !

I'm currently (slowly) getting near to completing a nut and bolt rebuild of my 1996 Suzuki 600 Bandit but have got the bug (pardon the pun) to customise a beetle ???

Not sure where the idea started but I can't shake it and find myself scouring ebay daily for that mint old scrapper going for £50 LOL !!!

It greaves me to chop up a good car but I don't want someonelses mishap so patience prevails at the moment.

I'll be checking in here periodically to get info and ideas but if anyone knows of a relatively solid Pre 70 beetle with the sloping profile front lamps (showing my nievety here) and if possible flat screen / oval rear ??? CHEAP !!! let me kniow.

I obviously have NO IDEA on all the coloqualisms or lingo so please excuse me if I sound dim ???

I have some radical ideas which I'm not going to be revealing just yet as I genuinely think if successfull that I might have a real 1 off (yea I know EVERYTHING has been done before) but maybe not ???
