Awesome build, nice work. I really dig these kind of projects. 1303's with a beefy engine. Love the wheels too. Which ones are you going with? I just noticed a different set of porsche wheels on your intro thread. Is the dash the stock dash, but striped (minus the cool conversion)? If so, I never knew they looked like that. I might have to make use of mine. What color do you plan on painting your super? I'm guessing a metallic blue.

You know,

One thing lead to another....
Minus the conversion this is how a bare, stock 1303 dash lookes like...
I'm planning on repainting it in the original colour, L96B, Alaska Blue Metalic..
The engine is from a 2002 impreza Sti (JDM, for the Jap's Market)
This engine has a stock 280 Bhp... I'm looking into a sequintial 6 speed gearbox at the moment...

But that means it's not a daily driver, and that's what the idea is... so..
For the Wheels I'm going with the 911 GT3 one's.. (the picture in my first post...)
Front's will ben 18 inch 8,5 J
Rear's 18 inch 10 J
We'll see

the ej20t is not a real Subaru code.

the ej20 codes are

single turbos

ej20g
ej20k
ej205
ej207

twin turbos are

ej20h
ej20r
ej206
ej208

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Subaru_...0_Turbocharged

since you say its 280hp then i think its ether

single
ej20g

twin
ej20r
ej208

That front bumper really looks BIG without the front fenders, almost like it's a few feet out in front of the rest of the car

280 Horses should get that going purty fast in a hurry

He Ron,

280 will give me a kick in the back to get me going. However, I found out this engine has, bigger turbo, race injection, other Maps in the Motormanagement. Basically with this set-up it's closer to 380....

WOW, 380 horses will definitely be like getting hit in the rear end by another car, rather a large truck going 50 MPH

380 horses?!!! I'm guessing you'll be running some extra weight in the nose to keep the wheels on the planet.

It is and it will stay that way. Had a lot of "in between" projects and was fed up with all that so sold everything, freed up some dineros and got to working again...

Keep you all updated, I promise..

Me too, me too! I bought the Single Cab on 20 January, 1972. I then began tinkering on the 36 hp. The Corvair six and its tranny went in in '74 or so. The V8 powertrain was up and running by '81. This morning I continued on the passenger side rocker and cargo floor repair. I'm hoping to have her all one color this winter. Hmmm, I seem to recall saying that last year, maybe the year before...sigh.

Cool project and sweet choice for the power plant. I've been going back and forth between a WRX motor or SVX motor for my Fasty.

Just curious though, why'd you start taking off the red on the intake? Trying to camouflage it some as a non STI motor?

It was already pealing so took it al of..
I don't want any colours shouting at me when I look in the engine bay. Basic black and metal colours ..
I think the sound it will make will make sure everyone knows it's an STi engine...
