That's a cool little window. Perfect size to stick a small fan there on the occasion you need to vent some fumes.

Deadlines. I love them. Especially that whooshing sound as they pass by.

I am sitting in my shop space testing out my heater. I have about 8 sq/ft of wall to finish, but that is okay. With no insulation and the hole, it went from 49F to 59F in under 10 minutes!

I have also run a dedicated power chord to the shop for my retractable extension chord. I know I can run my welder or my compressor on this line, so it should run most any tool I have.

I sure hope that you have the two chords tuned together, don't want any dissonance in the workspace!

I have my stringed instrument in there too... so sure. I can never remember when it is cord or chord. But, I do know the difference between to, too and two!

That's pretty cool, did you have to deal with permit bs?

I'm thinking of getting an all metal carport for around 800 and adding a bit of corrugated glass siding.

No... no permit. It is about cost to build here... and, it was super-cheap.

Right on, looks like a nice set up you have there. I'm going carport route so if the neighbor bitches to the city I can pull off the walls and its a freestanding carport again, which is okay around here.
That's the plan anyway.

If you're worried about Google Earth, try a Harbor freight 'camo' style tarp strung over the roof. Out here you can build a 120 sq.ft. shop up to 15' tall w/o a permit. My shop is 10" x 12" with a gambrel roof. The peak is at 13'-6." I even had the electrical inspected and approved.

The last hole is filled! Next up is to start saving for the real wall coverings.

Actual siding. Right now, it is rough 1x6s with gaps and such.

I started moving engine build parts over to the space. Low and behold, I have an extra t20 turbo! I'm feeling a 1600T build coming on... blow through, stock carbs, 5psi and maybe 90hp if I'm lucky!

As long as you don't post it on the internet/web you'll be fine!
