Default Hello again.

Hello everyone.

Just wanted to let you know we still lurk around here.

We are putting a new motor and transmission in the Flat 4rd. It isn't very radical but it should be very reliable. I will try to post a few pictures as we get further along for anyone interested.

Glad to see you still around.

This is still one of the coolest rides ever built. I look forward to seeing any updates ya'll can have on it.

While you say the new engine won't be radical, I am sure you will find a way to make it look it. A stock looking engine in the Flat 4rd?

What is the new mill? I suppose even a 1600 in that little thing would motivate it pretty well.

The new motor is Porsche 2.0 with hydraulic lifters, they ground a new cam to be similar to the old cam. We also have a new rebuilt 4 speed. We plan on driving the car a lot more now, so we wanted it to run nice and cool and be low maintenance.

Rob!

Its the shop at Walt's house. You should come by some time and look at what he is doing these days in retirement. He just finished a beautiful 1932 Plymouth. We would love to have you by to catch up.
