I did mine without wheels. The car sat with the discs resting on top of sections of 8 inch square tube. Then shorter sections, about 28" long square aluminum tube was clamped horizontally across the disc and marked where the front and rear edge of the tires would be, the toe measurements were taken from the aluminum tube.

think of this on all four corners.
