Default They asked, I told!
Re:: Da Bastard & I got featured.

Well my boss was trying to be a smartass and told me about the local newspaper wanted to do a feature on someone who drove a 30 yr or older car. So I sent an email and they came out and interviewed me (2 weeks ago). They asked all kinds of questions. The feature came out in todays newspaper (my birthday)...

Heres the artical.
(don't worry, Volksrods is mentioned)

Nice article,
For me its the simplicity of the older cars- When somethings broken you can actually point to it and say "Aha !!! Theres the problem"

That is the best headliner I ever seen

I'd much rather drive an old VW over any new car, that's why I'm fixing my 92 Caddy Eldorado so my son can drive it, and I can start driving a VW Bug again.
A pair of pliers, a couple screw drivers, and an adjustable wrench and you can dang near drive it across the country, and IF you have a problem you damn near have all ya need to fix it if there is a car parts store within walking distance.

Oh yeah, and a pack of matches if you still run points.
