Default My turbo

This is a KO4 turbo. It’s a upgrade stock style replacement for a KO3 on a new beetle 1.8T. I just started last night, but it was raining. So maybe I’ll get to test it today. I drove it with a T3 turbo and it was making minimum boost, so I went to this smaller turbo. It’s only a crammed 1600. It was easy to build from scratch with the T3. Flanges are cheap and other parts are readily available. The KO4 was more of a challenge. Especially since everything was all set up for the physically larger turbo. It better make boost now.

Looks good, that looks pretty simple too, wish I knew something about turbo, all I know is, it's fun to say My son keeps telling me to do it, I might since he can weld, I would be doing it from scratch

I can guide you through it. It’s easy and on a volksrod, space is unlimited.
