bringing this back from page 5!!!

today i got an email from Rob... looked totally legit, minus one single underscore out of place, fb msged and determined he had been hacked...

family and i visitied a rum distilery had a drink a piece, cam ehome, wife passed out, i kept drinking jack and cokes... it's almost 5am now, i'm about to go to sleep, but thinking about what i need to do to my car..

need to lift the front en d up, install the new sway bar, pull the gas tank, tighten the AN fittings, play with carb jets to get the AFR right..

hopefully be driving it to/from MD from VA all summer and for the next 3 years..

I miss the VR crowd...

Your turbo ref reminds me of a saying on a t-shirt back in the seventies or so, "I'D RATHER BE BLOWN THAN INJECTED". There was a cartoon of a supercharged Chevy V8 so folks wouldn't be offended.

I remember that shirt....... Back then I had a license plate frame that said "the more I know women the better I like cars". That was an instant piss off to women, not getting laid rocking that thing.......

I drove an old Volkswagen Beetle, when I met my first wife, that was different shades of light blue that had Bumper stickers on the deck lid, that said "I'd rather be rich than Well Hung" and "If it swells, Ride it!"... But the "Blown rather than injected" shirt is a good one I remember from those days...

Back in the summer of 86 I called Trina (before we were married) and told her to bring a change of clothes and I'd pick her up in an hour, we went to Louisville Ky, from there we went to Mammoth Cave, while we were there we went into a place that sold nothing but bumper stickers, I bought one for my Bug we drove down there, I wanted one that said "Tight Butts Drive Me Nutts" but Trina didn't wanna ride in a car with sticker on the back, she settled for the one that said "Watch My Rear End Not Her's" i put it on the deck lid and we drove home
