Re: It's really happening...
Things up top are getting a bit crowded. This is just a rough mockup to measure space.

Glad to see you still working on this car. The VR6 will be sweet

Seeing this power plant brings another ‘sixties comment to mind: “Injection’s cool, but I’d rather be blown.” 😬😬 And you’ve got both. 😲😲

Re: It's really happening...
Nice to see someone else going liquid cooled. The VR6, as I'm sure you know, is a pretty strange ranger, with it's angled piston tops and bore centerlines not pointing at the crank centerline. I think you can get some power out of them but did you consider a 1.8t?

Re: It's really happening...
Are you going with a front radiator? I just ran my coolant lines with 1" steel conduit. You can check it out in my build if you're interested. I think they turned out pretty nice.

Re: It's really happening...
Cool, literally. How will you get air to it? Side mount heat exchangers are kind of exotic. I think pretty much all mid engine super cars have side mount heat exchangers.

Re: It's really happening...
No more wing evidence.
After all the handwringing to make the fender flare cuts, today it was fairly easy to change up the flares from just the reasrs to the full set.

Re: It's really happening...
The flairs are a nice touch. 👍And the tire on your front wheel is about the lowest profile I’ve ever seen!😲😲😀

Re: It's really happening...
Hard to find those rims these days. You would think the classifieds would have them one in a while. CMS, Latest Rage and a few others made them. Looks good.

Re: It's really happening...
Ran the car, misjudged the track conditions and spun tires, then I missed 2nd gear. I thought... got the car ready for a race this weekend, but 2nd gear no longer exists, and there are unhapoy noises.

Re: It's really happening...
Car is almost ready for cruising again. No more track days.
Had to get a couple tires mounted today so I can pull the slicks on the pink notch for spring. 215/65r15s
