I'm over 40, so I have no idea.

Sounds like some "social network/popularity contest" BS.

Facebook is a pretty cool way to keep in touch with family. It's not ugly and nasty like myspace. All of my family, neices, nephews, aunts, uncles, great aunts, you name it, they all use it and most seem to use it darn near daily. I signed up because the family wanted me to but since then I have hooked up with over dozen old lost friends soley due to facebook. It is completely free to use and very close to spam free.

Google ads is a given if you wish to advertise a website. Having a website is damn near worthless unless your targetted market can find it. You can have 1000's of visitors a day and it don't mean crap compared to a handful of the right visitors showing up. Google ads is simple to start and simple to stop and is likely the single most popular tool used by all serious online marketeers.

AAAGHHH!!!!

I go crazy with the HTML!!!!

I finally got my ass off and started updating my homepage, BUT...

I'm sure I have some stupid codes on my pages as I dont know shit about HTML's...

Anyhow I want the two Youtube vids that now pops on top of the page to be below the two under the heading Some buildup photos etc. on this Gallery page...

Anyone able to sort out my html's?

Oh! And preferably so that the Thumbs below the youtube vidclips are not related to the youtube tables.... Now it seems like the first thumbtable is as wide as two youtube vidclips, moving the two other tables of thumbs far to the right....

More like:

What have you got for a HTML Editor ?
Maybe one of the brilliant kids around here can help.

I just copy/paste... Hmm... Maybe that's the problem.

If you wanna nest tables. create a few smaller tables with the formatting you want and then put all tables in one table to set orientation and width. Its a lot easier to keep track of that way.

Good news : I found some killer charts, with detailed tierod dimensions, that would be helpful to some people.

Now the bad news: they are in .PDF and .XLS format.

Where can i post them so people can view them ?
Maybe there is a Photobucket for PDF and XLS files ?

Thanks for any help.

Any suggestions for Search Engine Optimization ?
Plain English would be good.

I've submitted my site to Google, Yahoo, etc.
Looking to generate some more traffic.
Any ideas ?

My email address is on my site, so people can order stuff.

I didn't make the address clickable, because I was afraid of Spambots.
Is this a legit concern ?
Seems like not everyone can Cut and Paste.

I had to abandon my Volksrods.com address,
because of way too much Spam.

Spambots are smart enough to get it from the text alone nowadays. As for search engines - Add yourself to Dmoz and any other free directory services. The search engines use them as starting points. Next try to get as many ppl as possible to link to your site, especially ppl with popular sites. Failing that .. you just have to pay the search companies too much.

I got a problem~
I have been trying to install SP3 thru the win update, says it could be between 66MM -316MB, ok fine and dandy, that must have taken weeks to download, so, Just how long should it take to install?
I was up this mornin, at 630, ok'd it to install and went back to sleep, I left it, 2 hrs later, I move the mouse and my screen saver is frozen and the 'busy lite is not doing anything, so to me it was 'not busy'... I turn it off and it reset itself ? SP3 is still on the update to install~

It's not like this system is packed full of stuff, not yet, 93% avail space~

Just curiuos.
And a lil bugged this new system is acting like my old one, very slow to open programs. And now I have to tell it twice to 'shut down' .
Yes I defrag, cookie dump and temp delete. AVG runs every evening.
