I only ask, because your index keys look really far from the item being molded. I usually put my keys closer so there is no flex in the mold.
The base is just two layers of 3/16" hardboard laminated together. I am not overly concerned about flex since both pieces will be placed in heavy duty core boxes at the foundry. Fred also does these small pieces with plaster molds, not sand, so there is not nearly the pressure and such when making the mold. I am confident it will be fine based on my conversation with Fred.
