So I'm building a Baja Bug and decided to go with an IRS in place of the swing axle. I found a newer donor IRS torsion/ horn assembly and swapped out the two. I know this has had to have been addressed a bunch of times but I have a small issue. The body mounts that are in the wheel wells are too long now and the body cant match up to the floor... Looks to be about a
1 1/2" difference. Now there is a gap between the body and the floor on the back and the body is sitting perfectly on the mounts on the rear shock towers. So is it easier raise the body mount or lower the body mount on the torsion? My gut feeling is to raise the body portion? Whatcha think?
