Most of the late model VW seats are similar. I"m hoping to find some decent black leather seats from a late model Golf Bug. I'd use passat seats but they don't flip. Certain model MKII GTI's have seats I like as well. Both look pretty good even if you take the headrests off and use them like lowbacks. My ass is gettin old and the heat is niiiiiiiice in the winter.

I hear ya A lot of padding still there, it just wore out like some old seat.

I have recently become the owner of another of the aftermarket seats like this from the era. It was made by Logan. Not an EMPI, but these things were almost identical. Probably came from the same shop, just different ends...
