Re: Hood Ornament
Mine is sitting on the shelf till I get my '51 on the road. Don't worry, I'll take pictures of me drilling the hood for the sambanistas..... Shoulda put it on the '43! But they are still all butt hurt about Scott and John taking a sawzall to that....

Re: Hood Ornament
I have to admit I have taken a long hiatus from logging onto the site and now kicking myself after reading on the ornament and missing out. So like a couple of others have said if one of you decide you no longer can take the coolness sitting on your shelf or don't have the heart to drill your hood and think you have to give one up because of the temptation then I would be willing to buy it from you. John has done an awesome job on that piece and I have a specific place to mount one.... (that doesn't quite sound right) but well anything about mounting one probably won't come out right however I would love to get my hands on one. Thanks

Re: Hood Ornament
I got #46 back from my buddy since he hasn't polished it. He did remove the little flashing rib but that's it. I don't know what I'm doing with it...may put it in my display case, may leave it in the box and put it in the closet or I may offer it up for sale? I could use some money.
