Re: Hood Ornament
Just got home from an all day baseball tournament and found #47 on the door step.
I already test fit it and while it will need a tiny bit of tweaking, it fits nicely. Thanks again John. For now, it's sitting on a little glass shelf next to another of your works.

Re: Hood Ornament
Well thank you John and thank you Marlyn (p0pz). Received a hefty PayPal notice with Marlyn's $$.
Again John... you didn't have to do that. But I AM glad someone else gets to put their hands on one of those big brass beasts.
Thank you once again for all you do to support us here.

Re: Hood Ornament
Yesterday afternoon after completing the 'have toos,' I sat in the shade by my little shop, had a local Jazz station on, sipped iced tea, cleaned up some of the casting flash on the hood ornament with my jewelers files, and did a little 600 grit sanding. All in all tinkering on The Ornament is very relaxing and a nice way to spend time. Thanks John.

Last two ornaments are in the mail...including the brass auction piece.
Thanks to everyone that bought one. We were able to donate $1125 to Steve to keep this place going.

Re: Hood Ornament
My utmost thanks to both Steve and John. I stop in here several times a day clear my mind (whats left of it) of all the trash I deal with on a daily basis and focus on what is really important. Goofy little rear engine cars.
