It has been tastelessly equipped with cheap accessories to divert your attention from the wrinkled sections of paint.

Oh and it drips fluid on the ground.

I have some lights very similair to these pulled off a Small kids train ride.

They do not have the split amber/red but they are the same other than that. Hella and all.
I am really surprised at how much he is asking for these.

I am looking at a 1960 beetle on the Samba, https://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifi...php?id=2342309. Contacted the seller and have gained lots of information, the good and the bad and the ugly. Has anyone ever had any issues with the guys selling stuff on the Samba? Any info on this subject or thoughts on the purchase from the pics and the description would be greatly appreciated. I am currently working in Iraq and waiting for this quarantine thing to calm down so I can eventually come home and go look at it and maybe make a deal. thanks in advance.

Just like any other sale. You can win or lose. Dealt with mostly upfront people with make a deal prices. Only 1 or 2 shady people. Check the person's sale history or forum background. Ask around about them. Do your due diligence. He might be leery that you are overseas, want to make a deal and such. I had the, I'll pay you 1000 more than asking and will have my friend pick it up and you can pay me back... red flag.

If you have any friends who live not to far from him, get them to go over and make first contact. They might get an important vibe from him good or bad.
