I got mine roght from kikker.Got an MSO,was riding it the day after I got it.Came in three boxes from UPS.1600 shipped.....but that was long ago, seems to be high cost to demand now.Mine was a 110cc,I see now theyre going bigger.Gotta add.....real good stuff. The springer was height adjustable, billet trees, lotsa billet stuff. The oil tank is fake, housed electronics.Real leather straps holding the batt box closed.Hand and foot shift too.Turn sigs, drag pipe....just cool.

Re: Motorcycle Thread
I see they now make them with 200cc's now. This is a pretty bad ass little bike, but I'd like to see an adult sitting on it. The frame is pretty small as it is and most of them I've seen have apes that make them rideable.

Yea that's what I would do. You can find a old honda rebel for about $100.00 and use the engine. They are 250cc

Re: Motorcycle Thread
And for frame size, youd be surprised......decent size for a toy.Wheelbase is a bit smaller than a sportster, very close to a rebel.

Re: Motorcycle Thread
Sorry about the crappy phone pics but I test rode this 89 GSXR750 today
Holy crapballs that thing is a fucking rocket ship! As you can see in the pics, the dumb ass tire jockey (it's at an automotive tire shop) that wheeled the bike out of it's spot was kind enough to roll it right through a big puddle of oil so after some very careful scrubbing in of the tires I took it for a good little work out. Did manage to break the back end loose a couple of times but kept it under control pretty easily. Hot damn did it ever feel good to be up on 2 again even it was just a short ride. So anyway, it rode really nice. No weird shakes or noises, and it seems to really enjoy being flicked around. Felt much more nimble than I expected it to. Not sure why but I expected it to feel heavier. Apparently it's got some aftermarket cam in it and was owned by a tiny asian girl that rode it to Baja and back and then sold it to this guy because she bought some litre bike. It's got 64000 km (39000 miles) most of which I'm told are highway. The guy is going to come out to look at the Chrysler during the week but he said from looking at the pictures I sent him it's pretty much a done deal. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Re: Motorcycle Thread
Yesterday, I was rolling down the street . Heard what I thought was a new siren. Looking around for the lights I see this bike doing about 150 mph in the other direction. Man He was on a death wish. That thing sounded amazing you could hear it scream from a distance. the sound was bouncing off the buildings. nothing like the sound of high rpms to get you all pumped.

Here's mine. Funny thing, this is the best 'sickle thread right now on any board I'm on, especially since the Jockey Journal kicks off Jap bike content now.

Re: Motorcycle Thread
Ooh, Yamaha XS-650. Classic looks, bullet proof engine and fun to ride. You have a nice looking version
I saw one on the road a few weeks back built in the Cafe format with the lettering on the tank changed to read 'YOMAMAHA.'

Re: Motorcycle Thread
i dont understand why people choose to be closed minded. i grew up on harleys and lately am starting to look at hondas. if everything was all one type life would be boring.
i love the look of your bike, it loks like you take a lot of pride in it.

Re: Motorcycle Thread
If I could figure out how to post pics ( I am an internet idiot) I will show you my TOP SECRET ironhead sportster project. I love old Ironheads because so many hate them. Mine is a 64, we are building the frame right now, all chromoly Only thing we wont be building it the motor/trans and the wheels and tires, everything else will be built right here in our little shop. I am kinda going board track style w skinnys front and rear both 21"ers tank below back bone, suicide shift, foot clutch left hand throttle right hand twist clutch... etc

Don, what bars and mirror are you using? I just picked up another XS650 from Craigslist and plan on doing a Brat Style bike with it. Most of the Brat bikes don't run mirrors but I need to figure out a way to run something that looks cool.

These always look pretty trick...
They fit at the ends of the handlebars and gives a pretty clean look with function.
