Re: Motorcycle Thread
he keeps changing his ideas on the front. Concentrating on finishing up the rear before tackling the front. Plus, out of argon, not much now til he gets another bottle.
Has thoughts of an 40's (?) dodge truck tear drop headlight. Will have to dig the local junk yards to see whats still useable first.

Re: Motorcycle Thread
This should go in the eBay thread, but it's more Motorcycle Thread related.

Re: Motorcycle Thread
Nice thing about your choice is that you can't lose. Both have a great look. I've ridden the Scrambler, but not the Nightster. The Triumph is really nimble in the twisties and has plenty of torque.

i was thinking Bobber style Im not to into the cafe's. you cant tell from the pic but it has a lot of surface rust so it needs to be torn down for repaint. Oh ya 4k on the speedo and one owner its been sitting out side for years and was left with gas in the tank.

Without a doubt, that bike would look killer as a bobber. I don't suppose there is a company selling hard-tail kits for those?
What size is it? 350? I think 500cc and up was a 4 banger, right?
Here's a sick Honda CB750 bobber that I found on ebay last year:

Re: Motorcycle Thread
175 is a fun bike. I had one with the high side pipes. Built it out of two dead ones for my wife to learn on. Except for one leaky carb (tweeked float bowl) it ran fine and was great on the back roads.

Re: Motorcycle Thread
Got a PM request from trebor13 for more shots of my friend Mike's Iron Sporty so here's what I could dig up.
Another early shot:
and in it's current state:
That's about all I can dig up now. If I find more I'll post them.

Bill, that friend of yours has one kickin', sexy-ass bike. Everything from the coffin tail light to the springer front end is perfect.
Please tell me it's kick only...

Re: Motorcycle Thread
I took a couple snapshots of a couple current projects that Mitch and I are working on at his shop.
I have no clue what this is, but it catches my attention every time I go to work.
Sweet bobber/chopper project for an older (60+ year old) guy. Harley Panhead, kicker +electric start.
Working on a Captain America replica.

Re: Motorcycle Thread
You can bob it if you have some pics of the tank and seat off post them up I have done hardtails on all kinds of diff stock. Frames that thing would also look sick done in a board track style real thin
