Top Frame is a CM 450 the bottom frame started as a cb350 four 1973 prob very similar to your frame

well order a seat and got some bar's fron a local bike shop and started it up today. still tring to get the tank clean.

The weather finally decided to do something other than snow or rain or both and it was sorta almost warm out (low to mid 40's) so I slapped a plate on the new beast and went for a ride around to a couple of the local beaches today.

Well it's pissing rain again and suposed to continue right through next weekend so I now have some time to post my report from this last Saturday.

Started out at about 9am and met my friend Mike for breakfast. I ordered the waffle special and (of course) a side of bacon. Apparently at this particular establishment a side of bacon is about a 1/2lb.

After eating we went to pick up Mike's friend Randy at his place.

From Randy's we headed across to the north side of the Mighty Fraser River for some foothill twisties.

This road takes a hard left and turns into a veritable roller coaster through the hills

Randy went home to attend tto his honey-do list and Mike and I headed back over th Fraser to Fort Langley for a coffee. Mike ordered some cinnamon latte froofy thing and was a little embarrassed when the cute server girl brought it out to him

I scored a tiki mug for the home tiki bar at a junk store next to a gas station along the way but I didn't take a picture.

All in all a pretty wicked day of riding and hangin with good friends. I think I've said it before but I really can't complain about days like that in mid February in BC.

well today i trimmed the front fender and added the spacers for the fender brakets i had made by the machine shop . Now all i have to do it weld in the licince plate holder and then i can brake it down for paint . I'm really happy about the way she turned out .

A guy I bought parts from in Austria just offered to sell me his BMW r75, if my wife wouldn't kill me and I could afford the import charges I'd be all over that... oh well

The bars are just low enough for me. Lower would look cooler but, I think that height is just practical enough where you could still throw some bags on it and go a distance.

I thought I'd give an update on a bike I've been keeping my eye on since I started working for Mitch.

Before:

After: Paint, front wheel (100 spoke with twisted chrome spokes), cables, brake lines, and a bit of striping.

and some wiring:

A local striper from Banning did the stripes and paint. Looks killer so far. I wish the bike was MINE. Since I haven't the time to work on my own bike or v-rod project, I've been keeping busy documenting the work at the shop lately.
