Thought ya'll might enjoy this. Not mine ...just watched it go together. Based on an Iranian 125 Caspian. Looks like a Honda copy.. well it did.
Its got some neat details...Flamed battery box, as in plasma cut flames. Sounds wicked with the straight pipe. I got to ride it , Lots of fun

RE; The motor is a Harley Sprint, 350ccs, a '71 or so. I had one built from a pair I bought fo a hundred bucks or so. Fun bike, had HARLEY DAVIDSON on the tank and the HD riders hated it. The guys at the HD dealer denied HD ever built them and I found parts through magazines. This was way before the internet. It's worth about what you can get for it. Funny, I could swear that we've already been over this

We did cover it, I just thought someone on this thread might have a link to more info. Thanks for ID-ing it tho, there are no markings on at all.

I absolutely LOVE the Zundapp. As soon as I learned about it for the first time I went searching. Ended up with another of their great creations;

Things are looking up. I am going to motorcycle school this month so I can get my license again and finally be able to ride my bike after owning it for a year. I may be getting this from a friend at work............ (Internet photo, not the "Actual" bike he has)

It's a 1985 Nighthawk 700s the same color as the picture. Anybody have any web sites they like for Honda Cafe parts? I'll post photos of the actual bike if the deal works out

SWEET. I had a red 1984. I loved that bike. Traded that in on an 86 Yamaha Fazer.

'04 GSXR 600, 12k miles, never layed down, spotless paint.

Would $4300 be a killer deal or just average?

my friend bought one that was a little newer than that, and a 750 for around 3200 I believe, with race suspension, professionally tuned.

seems high to me, but I know shit about sport bikes.

find out the O.D. of the shocks at the trees, you should be able to find some clip ons on ebay for a decent price.

There are a TON of "universal" cafe seats on ebay as well, you can always make your own too if you want, not horribly difficult.

I'd almost say leave the headlight fairing and maybe push the forks through the trees and inch or so.

If you feel fancy, figure out a way to use the passenger pegs as rearsets.

Here's the story on the bike....... Owned by a friend of mine at work. Ran fine, parked it for the winter in his garage. Battery went dead and it just sat so he piled shit on top of it. Bike is a 1985 but for what ever reason it had a 1986 engine put in it (he said he had paperwork on the replacement engine). Right now he is trying to find where he put the pink slip, if he can't find it he will get it replaced as lost. Said he would need to get a few hundred for it but for a friend........... he would give it to me for free I'm hoping it works out. My plan would be clean out the tank, change the oil, buy a battery and get it to fire up. Then probably have to rebuild the carbs and see what issues the brakes may have. After that, new tires, clubman bars with new mirrors, Cafe style seat, maybe some pod style air filters and last some rear peg sets if I can find something close enough to modify to work. I'm kind of digging the mini faring even though it has a square headlight so I'll keep that. It's also a shaft drive so I won't be able to have a vintage Cafe look. I figure my theme will be a Cafe'd Nighthawk. Wish me luck on this one
