No, but Saturday I will meet the man who set the record and learn what I need to build.

Re: Rutrower?
There's a really great video out there, where a bunch of fools bought a Sand Dragster type build like that... With a Honda V-Tech V6 in it... got some balls too. Personally my engine goals would depend on my perfromance wishes. The V6, coupled with a turbo could be all kinds of faster than anyone would expect... but I am a VW nut and would probably bow to my VW-ness and do a big Aircooled motor instead. Otherwise we're talking Dragster Aerial Atom... right?

Re: Rutrower?
Back in the late 70’s a friend built a steel frame sand tail with an 1835 and named it “VolksDragon.”

Re: Rutrower?
This has an 1835 and weighed 900 with driver. 1.3 60fts are plenty quick!

Looks to be a fun project. 1.3 60 ft is fun. My old 60 pan car drag bug 60 ft 1.38-39.

Re: Rutrower?
Most live axles I’ve seen feature one brake rotor. Two sounds way better to me.

Re: Rutrower?
So, everything on this project is awaiting delivery. Can't build trans without the pinion and gears. Can't build the shift system without the 2 speed shift system and can't rebuild the front wheels until the last of the bearings arrive. All are in the post, none are here.
