"Fab skills are still in Newbie Land"

Hey sandfreaks, I love that statement! As we've all been newbies at some point, we should collect stories and put it in a book called, ahem, FAB SKILLS in NEWBIE LAND. Following the book would, of course, be the movie of the same title. Any suggestions for the cast?

Um, and now back to our regular thread.

Welcome aboard buddy
Yes thank you Doug & all the other members for the valuable input. I will be doing it the correct way & will probably post up a thread of my progress. When I get all my major important pieces to get it going (& when Georgia weather warms up)

Good deal. Glad to see people coming together to help others.
What part of Atlanta? I'm in Covington about 30 miles east of Atlanta.

Slowly gutting her apart. The nickname for this beast is Murphy. Everything wants to go wrong & when I go to fix one thing another problem pops up but i love it.

With Doug's extender on. (DBug41) I ended up redoing it after talking with Doug. I drilled out 1/2" and used the 6" bolts so they fit through the framebrace yesterday.

The beam was all prepped. It's actually currently on just havent had much time to take pictures. Will hopefully get to work on her Sunday.

Now it is upside down. I may try that next. Keep it up and you will be cruising around soon.

Your keeping your end of the bargain buddy.
Keep up the good work.
