Default Front shock towers
Re:: Why remove

Hey guys, i noticed that a few builds had the front shock towers removed and wondered why and what the pro''s and con''s are of this?
I've had a quick scout around and can't find an answer.

Appearance; ideally switching to lever shocks.

Don't forget aerodynamics. At 160 kph the drag without the help of fenders can be huge. Plus there's the odd whistling sound that starts at around 85, and depending on whether the upper part of the shocks are correctly shrouded, may become deafening by 120.

A lot of cars with narrowed beams don't have room for shocks any more. And radically narrowed beams are so stiff shocks don't help much.
I don't advocate running without shocks.

Yes, I assumed fenderless, but more common with the narrowed beam crowd.

A cleaner look and makes room to mount the headlights.
