Like I said to each his own, I can appreciate the work and talent, just not the outcome. The wheels, rear and side view I can handle, but not the catfish front end. Sorry.

Just down the street from where I work, they just opened up a collector car owners storage place. This is a place where people can store their cars in temperature and humidity controlled private spaces. Well the nice weather today apparently got someone to pull their baby out of storage for a drive.

I was sitting there eating my lunch when I heard someone giving a little extra throttle to an obviously smooth but powerful engine. My head snapped up and looked towards the street just in time to see the car come into my line of sight.

Now, I live in the middle of Silicon Valley where seeing someone commuting to work in a 911 Turbo's, GT2's, Carrera4S's and the like are a daily occurance. I have also seen many Ferrari's and Lamborghini's on the road (Saw a 308GTS yesterday afternoon.) But the car I saw today made my jaw drop. This is a car that I have only seen in pictures on the internet.

The car was a champagne colored Bugatti Veyron! There are only about 220 of them worldwide currently and they are only planning on building 300 of them. The price STARTS at $1,500,000!!!!!!!!!

Here is a Ex-Police car that turned up at the DQ Cruise in last night. Owner has been removing stuff (including paint) for about 2 mos. Plans to add a BIG pushbar to the front.
That is solid florida rust...awsome. Sort of Mad Max/Cruiser/
Rat/Hoodride.

Not my photo (they're stuck in my phone), but...

2009 BMW 750i-- these things aren't even released in this country til March! I got a preview from a BMW big-wig who made a presentation at my school.
The stats:
4.4 liter V8, twin turbo
6 speed automatic transmission
407 hp at 5500 rpm
450 lb-ft torque at 1800 rpm
0-62 mph in 5.2 seconds
Top speed limited 155 mph

Fucking gorgeous car!

Heard it costs VW $5,000,000 each to make them. Must just build them for bragging rights

Here's a cool double cab that was parked at the local bar, that I've seen driving around town and only now being able to take a close look at.

Military themed, with safari windows and a Porsche banjo steering wheel.

Unfortunately, the owner was a complete DOUCHE BAG, asshole, AND a samba purist, ugh. Also he likes to rev the shite out of his motor... directly after start-up when it's still cold! Jeeze, I hate to see him fuck up a bad ass looking ride.

How long ago? The owner claimed that he is a local, yet his personality says he lives at the beach.
