i need to ask that my wife, she rides the thing :)
keep in mind, it is a small bike and cause of the position of the midcontrols the seat position is just right.

Re: Motorcycle Thread
Women who ride motorcycles are seriously hot.
Say, I'm collecting parts for a Yamaha bobber. Is double sticky tape available in the more traditional black?

Re: Motorcycle Thread
Heres My recent build YouTube- VLX Bobber theres more pictures at www.edscustompinstriping.com I'm not trying to promote my business just showing off my paint skills. BTW if you see the dent in the tank, this bike used to have a rear fender. Turns out I didn't check a weld while getting on the bike one day and the fender strap which was steel decided to come loose. My fender slid underneath my rear wheel at 70 MPH. I slid down the local interstate on my back. Good thing I had gloves and a leather jacket on at the time. I'm all good now the road rash has healed up. Guess I'll post one of my other badass bikes while I'm at it. YouTube- CB750 Chopper Bobber

Re: Motorcycle Thread
Hey, that's really sweet and sounds great. On the roads around here you would definetly want a rear fender, or jeans very thick at the butt.

Re: Motorcycle Thread
Just put my 1969 Jawa 350 Californian up for sale on ebay. I gotta come up with cash to clean and synch the carbs on the RF900R.
Kind of sucks since it's a cool as Hell bike. I just don't have the cash to put into it.

If it doesn't sell, I'll take payments.
There's 15 people watching it though.

Re: Motorcycle Thread
Maybe he meant to word it as "this is a bike I had built for my wife" ......not built himself.

Re: Motorcycle Thread
I have seen a lot of 650 bobbers, They motor looks like the triumph motor, so it's a good look. I am thinking after I get this bike (picking it up next week) I will get it running, and ride it while I search out the frame I want. then find a tranny so I can toss the shaft drive and convert it to a belt or chain final drive.
Custom "yamabobber"

That bike is just about perfect to me. I tend to be partial to naked Goldwings but this one has the heft and lines i like.
