Hey y'all. I joined back in December 2009
I used to run a friend-group VW car club around the same time called Aircooled Outcasts in Modesto, California. All mostly shitboxes and definitely not show cars
I had gotten into Volksrods and rat rods around that time, and I've been lurking ever since. For a time I had a 61 Baja rag volksrod-in-waiting with a standard beetle hood and BRM wheels in OD green, that I wrecked. I hope to grab another Baja at some point and get back into the scene.
I attached a pic of my old car. I'm rocking a super beetle (73) now.
