This thing is pretty cool, especially that convertible or carson top. Can't tell if it folds, it looks like it does.

I don't really care for the convers over the fenders. I really don't understand why anyone would put a Bra on a car to begin with.

I don't know why I can't just add the damn image to the page.

pretty nicely done. i can see the use of a bra on a nice car for saving the paint from chipping, but i would have it off as soon as i got the where i was going. unless the bodywork underneith is f'ed

I had a long talk with that guy right there at that show (the Real Source Funfest in Effingham Illinois). I meant to get some pics of the car but it got late and the show ended before I got to a camera. I'm glad someone took a pic.

He drives the car at that ride height and I looked underneath it. The lower torsion tube was deep into the grass. So was the nose of the car. It was DAMN low.

The top and the bed of the truck were both hand crafted by this guy and were top quality. The top is what makes the car in my opinion. The bed sides were made of steel and the top of the bed was aluminum. The windshield section was off of an older car and is chopped some 4 inches or so. It had a nice motor in it too. It was a bitchin car.

I told the guy to join us here on the volksrodders forum but he's not the computer type (he doesn't own a computer).

I didn't mind the bra but it would look better with it off.

that is a sweet truck! I really dig the rear fenders- very nicely done, I can only hope that mine will be half that nice.

That's my idea of what a bug truck would have looked like if VW had done it from the factory. Very similar execution the way the flow of the body lines of the original bug continues around the back of the bed the way the Caddie was done from the rabbit.

I dunno Timbo, I just think those noses are really ugly. The rest of it is well done though. The black one is pretty nice too, but I think so far the yellow one wins it for me. I would maybe chop it a little bit.

Looks like a Stude cab section, too.

I'd actually rather have the Stude - plus S10 chassis, V8 - makes a really nice rod.

Hey, except for the color, I like it. I bet you don't see many of 'em around, and 'fugly' is in the eyes of the beholder.

It would be cool to replace the studeabaker on the tailgate with the volkswagen from a rabbit truck gate. Some people would think its orignal.

I was only an army brat and I have!

After 18 years of the middle east and african desert bullshit, most of the youngins have an aversion to that sand tan color everything's been painted, OD green, not so much.

Seen enough? Me? Are you making fun of my allergy to that color, which I'd just as soon not actually mention?
